DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan.
- Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
- Weekly meetings with MCL* to determine focus for the week.
- Analyze grade level data from formative and summative assessments.
- Participate in weekly grade level(content area) meetings / PLC meetings
- Reflect with MCL* from performed classroom observations.
- Submit lesson plans to MCL*.
- Lead small group / intervention lessons
- Create and maintain a safe learning environment.
- Participate in student goal setting as well as their own goal setting.
- Support first level of behavior intervention with students in their own classroom.
- Uses a variety of explanations and multiple representations of concepts that capture key ideas to help students develop conceptual understanding.
- Proactively communicate with parents and other stakeholders
- Provide differentiated instruction to students in all content area.
QUALIFICATIONS : Must be in the final year of an accredited teacher prep program
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Superior collaboration skills and professionalism; dedication to team goals and success, including the ability to effectively partner with team members to achieve priority goals and a willingness and commitment to support other team members’ initiatives as needed.
Must have the ability to connect to a diverse student population.
WORKING CONDITIONS : Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
