Qualifications
Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.3+ years of critical care nurse practitioner experience requiredActive NP license or eligible to become licensed in Virginia.Authorized to work in the United States.Practice in the Heart of the Community
Flexible Scheduling
This role is a nocturnist scheduleWe offer an array of flexible scheduling options and work collaboratively within our team to ensure coverage for time off.Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients in a 28-bed ICU (14 MICU and 14 CVICU) as part of a 300-bed hospital with Level III Trauma designation and a primary stroke center.Demonstrate autonomous care within an ICU setting for medical and surgical patients with support from a full complement of medical subspecialists.Provide evidence of procedural competency in the following procedures : central lines, arterial lines, intubations and chest tubes.Utilize the EPIC EMR system.Living And Working In Petersburg
