We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in managing large-scale application development and data & analytics projects within enterprise-level organizations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Databricks and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple application development and data analytics projects simultaneously.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Manage cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, business analysts, and external vendors.
- Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Implement best practices in project management, including Agile methodologies and use of project management tools.
- Utilize expertise in Databricks and cloud-based analytics platforms to guide teams in building and deploying solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders regularly.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships as necessary.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on application development and data analytics projects.
- Proven experience in managing enterprise-level projects with budgets over $1M.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including data integration, analytics workflows, and data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
