As an RN in the Resource Center Float Pool, you will demonstrate clinical competence through utilization of the nursing process, assess and identify patient problems / needs, and provide high-quality care to patients.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of a school of nursing
- One (1) year acute RN experience
- Current unrestricted license in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track
- Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Basic knowledge of Nursing principles and practices, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a stressful environment.
Problem Solving and Decision Making : Requires high level of analytical ability and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
