Our client is currently seeking a Scrum Master / Agile Coach
This positions is a full time direct hire
Hybrid to Chicago (3 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities :
- Coach delivery teams to self-organize and achieve objectives without micromanagement.
- Contribute to building high-performing Agile teams.
- Support Product Owners and Delivery Teams by leading by example.
- Facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
- Create a trusting and safe environment for problem-solving.
- Improve Scrum Master skills through education and collaboration.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Teams to plan and execute projects.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Assess team Agile maturity and guide improvements.
- Facilitate effective sprints by removing impediments.
- Enhance internal and external communication.
- Assist Product Owners with story grooming and backlog maintenance.
- Proactively manage risks using Agile best practices.
- Lead daily stand-ups, sprint demos, planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of Agile values and principles.
- Experience with Agile transformations and team-building.
- Multiple Scrum team experience in diverse contexts.
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile (SAFe) or Scrum of Scrums.
- Continuous education in Scrum practices.
- Knowledge of other Agile approaches (XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD).
- Proficiency in Agile techniques (ATDD, TDD, CI / CT, Pairing, Automated Testing).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational process design skills.
- Background in ITIL and Agile methodologies
