Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Delivery Driver to join our team. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to operate under pressure, and the endurance to manage physical demands.

Out ideal candidate will have strong navigational and customer service skills, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Order Fulfillment : Accurately collect and verify stock or goods from collection points, ensuring all customer orders are complete.
• Vehicle Loading and Route Planning : Organize goods in the delivery vehicle efficiently and plan optimal routes using GPS navigation and knowledge of local roads, including alternative routes as necessary.
• Vehicle Maintenance and Safety : Conduct regular checks on delivery vans and adhere to safety guidelines to maintain road safety.
• Adverse Conditions Handling : Capably manage driving and delivery tasks during inclement weather, maintaining composure under pressure.
• Quality Control and Customer Interaction : Ensure the delivery of goods in excellent condition and interact professionally and courteously with clients, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Documentation : Unload and verify goods at delivery points, facilitate paperwork with clients, and maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, and route details.
• Forklift Operation : Safely operate forklifts for loading and unloading goods as required.

Qualifications :

• Valid Oregon Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions quickly.
• Basic familiarity with computers, handheld devices, and relevant software applications.
• Strong communication skills to effectively follow instructions, interact with team members, and engage with customers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage tasks that involve bending and twisting.
