Responsibilities of the LPN (LicensedPractical Nurse)
·Perform all nursing duties in accordancewith the scope of practice specific to the state you are working in, whileadhering to all facility policies and procedures.
·Provide superior home care for individualsto improve quality of life.
·At least one year of experience as an LPNin a Long Term Care setting is preferred
·Continually evaluating the patients’ needswhich includes assessments, diagnose(s) and interventions according to patientsindividualized home plan of care.
·Preparing accurate, orderly and timelyreports, documenting while maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of thejob.
·Adhering to all practices standards as theyapply to patient care while keeping individuals cultural and spiritual beliefsin mind while maintaining professional standards and boundaries.
·Provide emotional and psychological supportwhen needed.
·Communicate with patients’ family orfriends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions.
