Position Overview : Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Daly City, California.
This role involves supporting Speech-Language Pathologists in providing therapy to students, helping to improve their communication skills and academic performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the implementation of speech and language treatment plans as designed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy to students individually or in groups.
- Prepare materials and equipment for therapy sessions.
- Document student progress and communicate findings to the supervising SLP.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications :
- Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or a related field.
- Valid California SLPA license.
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
