What’s the role?

Bloomberg’s Board of Directors and Management Committee Communications Team works across Bloomberg’s Product, Support and Finance Teams to facilitate all Board of Directors ( BOD") and Management Committee ( MC ) communications, processes and inquiry support.

We are evolving and formalizing this function and are seeking an experienced professional to join the team. As a key contributor, you will have the opportunity to establish processes and communication around deliverables blending financial and operational information to senior management for a fast-paced technology based financial services business.

We’ll trust you to :

  • Assist in providing Executive level communications to the BOD, MC and all levels of senior management
  • Work with Corporate and Business Finance Teams on various levels to deliver meeting materials to senior leadership
  • Project manage various aspects around the development, timeliness and delivery of meeting materials for the BOD, MC and senior management
  • Work with and facilitate the delivery highly confidential information with the utmost care and discretion
  • Work on time sensitive deliverables and communications to levels of senior management
  • Participate in special project requests and inquiries in support of the Board of Directors and Management Committee

You’ll need to have :

  • 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis
  • BA / BS in Finance or a related field
  • Experience with UX writing and design
  • Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes of issues and projects
  • Experience carrying out complex work with autonomy and make decisions within scope of responsibilities
  • Team player who can work across multiple departments and levels within the company
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word and Excel

We’d love to see :

  • Experience in financial services or a financial data provider industry a strong plus
  • Experience with UX writing and design
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment
  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg terminal (not required)
