Kuakini Geriatric Care, Inc. Description of Position
Worksin collaboration with the Registered Nurse (RN-In charge) and the nursingmanagement team in accomplishing the Health System and Kuakini Geriatric Care(KGC) mission and vision statements and core values.
This position entails application of thenursing process through assessment, formulation of nursing diagnosis, planning,implementing, documenting and evaluating plans of care for assignedresidents.
Responsible for followingestablished standards of professional nursing practice as delineated by KGC,Inc., providing leadership by working in collaboration with ancillary nursingpersonnel and promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
Qualifications and Requirements
Graduate from an accredited school ofnursing; or any combination of education and experience which would provide thenecessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualificationsto perform the essential functions of this position.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in theState of Hawaii required.Basic CardiacLife Support (BCLS), with retraining once every two years.
Experience in long-term care and acutenursing, with a minimum of one (1) year charge-nurse duties or experiencepreferred.
Experience in working withOBRA requirements preferred.
Starting Hourly Range $37.60 44.65
