Job Summary

The Regional Clinical Manager is responsible for assisting the Senior Area Clinical Manager by acting as a Team Lead within the specified region providing for first level coordination and support to the Clinical Specialists within the assigned region.

Reporting Relationships

This job reports to : Senior Clinical Manager or Strategic Customer Response Team Manager. Reporting directly (or indirectly) to this position are the following job titles : Clinical Specialists.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Area Clinical Specialist Manager to coordinate Product Implementations within the Region;
  • Present a positive / professional leadership image reflective of Masimo Corporation and CS Management;
  • Area Lead on performing Advanced ADC Analysis and SSA Analysis;
  • Area Liaison to the Clinical Research team on active projects to include training and support of research efforts;
  • Ability to plan, organize and deliver educational presentations to employees;
  • Active participation in Irvine based New Hire Training, Advanced Clinical Specialist Training and Per-Diem Training;
  • Coach and mentor new hire CS’s during Field Training portion of the New Hire Training Process;
  • Maintains training progress records on new hires and actively communicates with CS Regional Managers;
  • Must be able to maintain an extensive travel schedule;
  • Direct, plan, delegate and manage department budget and staff including : Hire, promote, demote, reclassify or terminate employees Write and conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions plans Make salary decisions (pay increases or new hire offers) Create training and employee development plans
  • Handle all departmental employee relations issues
  • Performs special projects as requested;

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstration of leadership qualities;
  • Successful completion of advanced training classes as deemed necessary by the Global Education Department and the Clinical Specialist Managers;
  • Licensed Health Care Professional;
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills;
  • Must be PC literate;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Managerial / Leadership experience;
  • Independent problem solving skills;
  • Must be able to travel extensively;
  • Ability To multi-task and operate In fast-paced environment while prioritizing and focusing on critical deliverables;
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional and productive manner utilizing effective communication skills;

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of Critical Care experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred. Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Nurse is preferred.

Physical requirements / Work Environment

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.

May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Must be able to travel extensively, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
