About this role :

The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance and repair duties throughout the corporate offices and branch network.

In this role you will :

• Support the Bank's "People First" focus and rules of engagement-maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing all clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB "A Better Place to Be".
• Daily activities are determined by Facilities Help Desk tickets and direction from Facilities Manager and Construction Manager.
• Performs minor electrical maintenance (e.g. wall switches and outlets, light bulbs, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools).
• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work.
• Reconfigures, installs, positions and remounts office furniture and space.
• Reports observed deficiencies in facilities and buildings to manager.
• Performs other work related duties as assigned.
• Travel required between CNOB branch location and external client sites.
• Wear PPE as required.

Must haves :

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to push equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., to lift equipment up to 50 lbs., and work in small areas.

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry
