Position Summary : Responsible for compliance, cost control, working with job teams and ensuring accuracy financial packages.

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Fosters relationships with the Operations team and shows a willingness to learn about the work
- Responsible for reviewing craft / hourly employee timecards for each assigned project on a weekly basis
- Keeps a record of all project financials for internal / external auditing and tax purposes
- Understands client, subcontractor and vendor billing process workflow, importance of timely and accurate billing documentation, and the effects of timeliness on cash management
- Comprehends how goods are purchased, invoices are received and paid, and maintains purchasing workflow internal controls
- Demonstrates understanding of the accounts payable process workflow and is able troubleshoot payment or vendor issues
- Analyze vendor / subcontractor accounts on assigned projects for any missing pay applications / invoices on a monthly basis
- Examine assigned project's payment applications / invoices for completeness, accuracy, sales and use taxes and conformance with established policies and procedures and general accounting standards
- Confirms pay applications are complete when submitting for payment (Project approvals, appropriate waivers are attached, amounts are correct, COI's are in compliance).
- Generates monthly COI reports, prepares schedule to track renewal periods and communicates to the Project Manager expired certifications
- Assist assigned project teams and prepare journal entries for assigned projects monthly accruals
- Ensures that all cost and cost adjustments are reviewed for accuracy to meet company standards and accounting rules
- Review costs, quantity claiming, budget structure, budget exceptions, makes appropriate corrections to ensure accurate reporting
- Identifies, adjusts, and reviews forecast and budget issues with the cost report to confirm proper recognition of cost and revenue
- Creates accurate information for the Month End Workbooks and uploads forecasts monthly
- Reviews subcontractor change order for completeness and any required additional paperwork (coding accuracy, signatures)
- Understand the relationship of the Accounting ERP and the Project Management software
- Displays first-rate customer service skills - maintains a positive attitude and always willing to offer a helping hand to other team members
- Maintains highly organized work environment, understands importance of time management, and communicates in a clear, concise, and effective manner

Education and Certification Requirements :
- 0-2 years of financial / data analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business Management, and / or equivalent degree.
Basic Requirements :
- A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required, as per company standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, adept at prioritizing and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lift 25+ pounds frequently.
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
Note : The selected candidate's salary will be determined based on factors such as internal equity, education, experience, specialization, and training.
