About The Position

Description : LCSW DRUG ALCOHOL COUNSELOR - PERM or CONTRACTMUST BE CURRENT LCSWJoin our Addiction Recovery Team at Moab Regional Recovery Center!This position provides counseling and support to individuals struggling with primary substance abuse disorder and dual diagnosis.

The counselor will work with patients throughout their treatment journey, from intake to discharge, and will collaborate with the treatment team to ensure a comprehensive recovery plan.

This position is a non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position.Anticipated Friday, 7AM to 3 : 30PM with occasional Saturdays from 7 : 30AM to 10 : 30AM.

Reports DirectorStarting pay range : $34.50 to $38 / hour, DOE. intake, admission, discharge, and transfer paperwork.Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.

Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions.Educate patients on all aspects of treatment, related health issues, and steps to recovery.

Assist in monitoring patient activities on center premises.Report patient abuse, neglect, and exploitation.Report patient grievances.

Treatment psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans.Identify and address clinical and case management needs.

Compliance compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standardsMaintain proper licensure and certifications.

Participate in preparation for surveys and inspections.Professionalism staff meetings.Comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Act in the best interests of the program and company.Participate in community relations activities.Work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
