- Two supervisory references are highly preferred at time of submission. References must be from a Manager or above, charge not accepted.
- Must be away for 1 full year from all facilities to return as a traveler.
Job Description :
- Responsible for the care of adult to geriatric patients in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Expected to work every other weekend and a maximum of 7 days of requested time off.
- No on-call requirements.
- If assignment period includes one major holiday, the traveler is expected to work it. If it includes two, the traveler is expected to work both.
If three, the traveler is expected to work two.
- Major holidays include : Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving / Black Friday, Christmas Eve / Christmas Day, New Year's Eve / New Year's Day.
- Floating required within facility and to sister hospital if needed.
- Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
- Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems preferred.
- Must submit core items and complete / schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract to ensure an on-time start.
