Pay Information
$490 to $515 per hour
About The Position
Join a medical community renowned for its compassionate care! Due to a physician retirement, we are seeking a dedicated physician with an active Illinois license and / or IMLC to start as soon as November.
Practice Setting
- Inpatient medical setting in Iowa treating adults only
- Average of 0-3 patient consultations daily
- Inpatient rounds for an average of 5-10 patients per day
- Full hospital surgical support staff
- Charting : CERNER
Cases and Procedures
- Types of cases consist of Cardiac (open heart), thoracic (chest surgery) required, and vascular (AAA bypass)
- Surgeries preferred, but not required
- The provider will not be required to see patients in the clinic, but will be available as backup for the NP
Schedule
- Ongoing, 6-12 month assignment with 5 on and 5 off
- Monday through Thursday 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM
- Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call coverage for inpatient rounding, consults, and emergent cases
Travel and Lodging
- Travel and lodging support is provided

- Board Certified or Board Eligible Within 5 Years
- IMLC or Illinois medical license
