As the sales coordinator you areassisting our incoming reservation calls for groups and meetings, as well asassisting the team with contracts, room blocks and communica tion with thehotel team to assure our guests and corporate clients receive exactly what wepromised! Many of our sales coordinators today become tomorrows sales managersand future Director of Sales!
Be one of the firstpoints of contact for incoming sales calls, and respond in a quick, timely, andprofessional manner to all internal partners and external customers.
Demonstrate excellenttime management, self-motivation and proactive planning.
Work diligently tocomplete assigned tasks and responsibilities (i.e. including but not limited toassisting with or the management of room blocks, select reporting, clientnotification of key dates such as cut-off or payment schedule deadlines, groupresumes, event orders and BEOs, billing details, and other integraladministrative aspects of the booking or execution of groups and events).
Learn sales systems andunderstand the hotels sales strategies.
Prepared for,participate in, and report out at all necessary internal meetings, conferencecalls, reporting, planning, training, and other communications required forthis position.
