THE ROLE :

Our team designs and develops large scale infrastructure software and tools that bring product blueprints to life. We are seeking a talented Software engineer who is well versed with latest technology and best practices to get the most out of our build farm that runs at scale to produce, publish, and deliver Software for all the products both internally and externally.

We are a fast-paced agile team where we embrace change and open teamwork, we need you to help the team build a highly usable and scalable software solution for our rapidly growing business.

THE PERSON :

Join us if you are passionate about solving problems and working with the latest technologies, both hardware and software! We are looking for someone experienced with OO design in multi-tiered architectures, comfortable with both Windows and Linux.

Requirements gathering and organizing is a plus, although strong written and verbal communication is a must.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Prototype, design, and implement large-scale distributed system that integrates windows applications, web services, windows services and front-end SPAs
  • Interact with teams within the company who use the solution
  • Document technical and design decisions for team members
  • Design and build client and cloud-based functionality
  • Debug issues in upstream, server-side libraries
  • Develop in a TDD fashion emphasizing on unit and functional testing
  • Be involved in support of existing production environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

  • Passion for building quality software
  • Commercial application development experience, Microsoft Windows platform using Microsoft Visual Studio and C#.Net preferred
  • Familiarity in web technologies; Angular, React, HTML, JavaScript
  • Deep understanding of all aspects constructing a service-oriented enterprise system with an emphasis on the backend
  • Experience working on both client and server side to produce high performance applications powered by scalable web services
  • Experience in designing, development and testing of API layer preferably using ASP.NET Web API 2
  • Solid object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Strong knowledge within the FW and BIOS Software
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Driver ecosystem
  • Strong knowledge of deployment technologies; Clusters, Kubernetes, Dockers, etc.
  • Experience creating reasonably normalized relational model, indexes, views, lookup tables, etc. and working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with modern ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communications skills : verbal, written, and interpersonal.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
