Medical Review Nurse
Job Title : Medical Review Nurse
Location : Remote- North Carolina
Duration : 3 months contract
Shift : 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm EST
This Position is remote in North Carolina (NC) State Only
Job Description :
- Assist with retrieval of medical records.
- Works with the HEDIS team to collect member records by contacting providers and placing collected records into database utilized
- Required to handle a high-volume of inbound and outbound calls with provider offices
- Continued follow up on requested medical records until obtained
- Excellent documentation of research and contact information
- Labeling records with appropriate naming convention
- Loading medical records to abstraction database

TBD, but likely 40 50 calls / faxes per day
Education / Experience :
- ADN (Associated Degree in Nursing) / BSN
- Prior HEDIS Medical Record Review experience HIGHLY preferred
- Highly organized
- Effective Communication skills
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Excel, Medical record software experience
