About The Position

Job Title : Sterile Processing Tech

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required.

License : Valid state license required.

Certifications : BLS, CRCST or HSPA, or CBSPD required.

Must-Have :

• Experience with flexible endoscope reprocessing, including bronchoscopes, colonoscopies, EGD scopes, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes, and TEE scopes.
• Experience in decontamination and assembly.
• Acute hospital experience preferred.
• No first-time travelers accepted.

Description : ASAP start required.

This position will involve a variable shift, primarily between 14 : 30 - 23 : 30 and 22 : 30 - 07 : 00.

Weekend coverage is required, roughly every 4th-5th weekend, with one night shift per week minimum.

The candidate must be able to flex hours as needed depending on volume.

Call may be required.

Experience is needed in using automated endoscope reprocessors and understanding high-level disinfection protocols.

Familiarity with sterilization wrapping procedures and proper selection of wrapping materials is essential.

Candidates will need to adapt to a variety of procedures and patient conditions.

Strong organization skills and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.

Candidates must comply with all health and safety regulations.
