Position Overview
Pantheon Data is currently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst. The IT Risk and Internal Audit Senior Consultant will play a key role in supporting Navy Human Resources systems with IT controls audits, assessments, remediation, and other internal controls tasks.
The position focuses on coordinating and monitoring internal controls for Navy HR systems in compliance with FISCAM. This role is ideal for IT audit professionals seeking to leverage their expertise in a consulting capacity, working closely with clients to assess IT control environments and implement robust business process transformation strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct walkthroughs with system personnel, review security plans, configurations, interfaces, and artifacts, and assess system and data flows to ensure data integrity and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Document test results and communicate findings to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Plan and execute IT control assessments using industry-standard guidance and leading practices and collaborate with Navy HR system clients to address control weaknesses.
- Develop remediation plans and provide subject matter expertise on IT controls and audit requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Three (3) or more years of experience in IT controls, audit, assessment, and / or remediation.
- Solid understanding of IT risk management and control frameworks, including FISCAM, OMB Circular A-123, and relevant federal information assurance regulations, particularly in the context of Military and / or civilian pay systems.
- Experience conducting IT control assessments, IT audits, and remediating IT control deficiencies.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate control artifacts such as security plans, system configurations, interface files, and audit logs.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Two to three years consulting experience working for a government contractor.
- Experience with DoD Pay and Personnel business processes and systems.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) a plus but not required.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location
Remote or Hybrid to Arlington, VA.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $99,000-$141,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
