POSITION SUMMARY
A Logistics Specialist manages all logistics-related duties, including document processing. Documentations include but are not limited to shipment invoices, sales order invoices, bills of ladings, return material authorization, operation schedules & lead times.
He / She will assist the logistics teams operation, managing and arranging logistics.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory and Transportation coordination.
- Utilize and manipulate spreadsheets and databases to display and analyze company data.
- Customers' needs usually revolve around the timely delivery of goods and services that they ordered and the perfect condition of products that were delivered to them.
Develop a deep understanding of customers' needs and take the necessary action to ensure that the needs are met, thereby maintaining and developing positive business relationships with customers.
- Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Track and fix shipping errors
- Prepare bills and invoices
- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Work hand-in-hand with various departments within an organization to effectively meet customers' requirements, maximize opportunities for sales, or minimize shortages that may have a telling effect on the business, as the case may be.
- Resolve around the timely delivery of goods and services they ordered and the perfect condition of products that were delivered to them.
- Review the companys logistics performance with customers in line with laid down targets and agreements
- Create and / or deploy project management tools and systems; implement plans, schedules, and compliance metrics.
- Collect or oversee the collection of product and project performance data; analyze data for further product development and improvement.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, production time, and other areas lacking efficiency; recommends improvements.
- Prepare reports and present project plans, progress, and results as required
- Perform other related duties as required.
