Job Description :
- Provide care for postpartum mothers and newborns in a 17-bed unit.
- Collaborate with a team of 9 RNs, 4 US / Techs, and 3 LCs.
- Work night shifts with 1 Charge Nurse, 3-4 RNs, and 1 US / Tech per shift.
- Manage patient ratios of 1 : 3-4 couplets.
- Utilize EMR - CPN / Meditech for data entry and patient management.
- Perform typical procedures such as circumcisions and hearing screens.
- Ensure a flexible and positive work environment, demonstrating accountability.
- Float to areas such as L&D to assist with newborn transition.
- Abide by the dress code of blue scrubs.
- Follow unit guidelines and policies.
- Rotate every other weekend for shifts.
- Preferred qualifications include breastfeeding certification.
