Primary responsibilities

• Work with internal IT service delivery teams to improve system management,
• Coordinate with sales team for client requirement and design infrastructure with required security measures.
• Coordinate with strategic partners for licensing and software updates
• Leads in the development of the technical solution or offering, in translating the business needs into technical requirements.

Contribute to technology solution building and technical writing to support business development / proposal teams.

• Identifies gaps, strategic impacts, financial impacts, and the risk profile in the technical solution or offering and provides technical support.
• leads efforts to develop cloud solutions to meet operational goals for high availability, performance,stability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Presentation and documentation creation and delivery to internal and external audiences via public conferences.
• adapts architecture to maximize the hosting provider’s infrastructure services.
• Supports and / or installs software applications as needed.
• Actively participates in the testing process through test review and analysis.
• Actively acquire Cloud / Cybersecurity certifications from industry recognized entities such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and CompTIA.
• Assist IT Services team in Installation of Windows, Linux based systems and perform troubleshooting to support IT Operations
• Participate in system implementation to enhance service delivery for network, helpdesk, infrastructure systems.
• Learn and Implement scripts to automate Infrastructure Management tasks.
• Develop and lead proof of concepts for product / service delivery, implement and maintain Lab environment for vTech’s IT capabilities.

Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / Engineering / Information Management or six (6) or moreyears of equivalent IT work experience.
• Networking : Experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices (switches, routers,firewalls) and a solid understanding of routing and switching.
• Windows / Linux : Fundamental knowledge and understanding of Windows and Linux Systems and Active Directory services.
• Solid understanding of cloud orchestration frameworks, enterprise IT service provisioning tools, and their role in IT transformation
