Job Title : Field Technician
Job Description
As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
You will work on a variety of tasks to ensure HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems, electrical components, and wiring.
- Perform routine maintenance, check for leaks, and ensure the refrigerant cycle is working properly.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, repair or replace parts, and recharge refrigerant.
- Inspect and test HVAC systems and components.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Discuss system malfunctions with customers and explain maintenance procedures.
- Perform energy-efficiency upgrades.
- Establish a preventive maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot and take corrective action for major malfunctions and breakdowns.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and technical manuals.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a construction environment.
- Willingness to work outdoors.
