Job Title : Field Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

You will work on a variety of tasks to ensure HVAC systems are functioning efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems, electrical components, and wiring.
• Perform routine maintenance, check for leaks, and ensure the refrigerant cycle is working properly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, repair or replace parts, and recharge refrigerant.
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Discuss system malfunctions with customers and explain maintenance procedures.
• Perform energy-efficiency upgrades.
• Establish a preventive maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and take corrective action for major malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, shop drawings, and technical manuals.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a construction environment.
• Willingness to work outdoors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, Texas.
