Primary Care Physician - Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

We invite applications for a full-time specialist in Family Medicine at our Fredericksburg Medical Center.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States we provide high-quality, patient centered health care.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect :

• This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Staff between 7 and 10 clinical sessions per week, with approximately 4 to 4 working hours per clinical session
• Provide primary care for a panel of approximately 2000 patients per 10 clinical sessions, adjusted for age, gender and medical acuity
• Document visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMR
• Treat patients in clinic and via video / phone

Minimum Requirements :

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants

The starting annual salary for this position is $240,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
