We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Software Engineer III to become a valuable member of our team. The preferred candidate should possess a background in working within large project environments and a robust development expertise in Java, Spring framework.

Additionally, experience in RDBMS and NoSQL concepts, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Cloud Implementation architecture, and a demonstrated history of delivering high-quality scalable software applications are essential.

In this role, you will actively collaborate with our product team, architects, tech lead, and the overall team to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of a dependable and easily maintainable backend infrastructure.

What you'll do :

• As a Software Engineer III, you will provide hands-on coding expertise with an aptitude for technical leadership to provide feature development and modernization of Walmart's Promotion / Appeasement platform.
• You will work closely with Product, Quality Assurance, and Technology Teams to ensure the highest level of stakeholder and end-user satisfaction.
• You will be a critically important member of the application development team in software design, coding, implementation, upholding our architectural patterns, coding standards, quality principles, and customer focus.

What you'll bring :

• Proficient in the design and implementation of REST API web services using Java and Spring framework.
• Skilled in crafting comprehensive test plans, creating test cases, and developing automation tests utilizing TestNG and Mockito.
• Well-versed in the design and testing of Relational Database Management Systems, encompassing MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and MongoDB.
• Adept at designing and implementing Kafka Producers and Consumers.
• Experienced in working with Elasticsearch for efficient search and data retrieval.
• Experienced in the creation, development, and upkeep of CI / CD pipelines using Git and Cloud platforms.
• Proven track record in constructing logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions using Splunk.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
