Schoenhofer Enterprise's founder, Denis Schoenhofer is a second-generation KFC franchisee who works with daughter and son, Samantha and Cameron, on a daily basis to continue the legacy of Colonel Sanders and Chuck Schoenhofer, Denis’s father and Samantha and Cameron’s grandfather.

Chuck Schoenhofer was one of the first KFC franchisees in Kansas many years ago, reaching a franchise agreement with Colonel Sanders in the late 1950’s.

So, you might say that Denis grew up in a KFC. But just because his father owned KFC’s, it didn’t mean that he could just kick back and chill.

Just the opposite. He breaded and fried chicken, helped customers, and took out the trash just like everyone else at the restaurant.

It was fast-paced and fun, and it was definitely a lot of work. But it was great too because it was rewarding, he got to use his brain and made some great friends.

Years later, several of Denis’s original crew still work with him today. It’s definitely a real family business. Every single day, the Schoenhofers travel to and work in stores throughout a five-state region.

They rely on each other and the talented team they have assembled in some 22 restaurants. Over the years, this team has become a family and would like to welcome you into their family, as well.
