Job Description

• Utilize the business system for receiving, organizing, segregating, identifying, storing, and dispersing items.
• Assist purchasing in vendor and inventory reduction efforts for the plant.
• Assist in inventory audit efforts for the plant.
• Ensures all inventory transactions are posted accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure receipts are being completed regularly.
• Maintain and participate in cycle count program. Prepare, lead, and participate in physical inventories.
• Consolidate inventory, when possible, to maximize space.
• Provide regular inventory reporting.
• Backup Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Material Handling as required.

Required Skills and Education

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years' previous experience performing inventory control processes
