Responsibilities : Position Summary :

Position Summary :

Under the direction of the Cardiology Director / Manager / Supervisor performs non-invasive diagnostic testing of the heart.

Tasks include but are not limited to preparing patients for all departmental procedures, performing EKGs, holter monitor set up and scanning, treadmills, arterial studies, answering phones, scheduling procedures, completing departmental paperwork.

Required Qualifications :

Current CPR card

EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent training.

Preferred :

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications :

Hospital experience in the Cardiology field or related experience.

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Physical Requirements : Must have dexterity, coordination, visual / auditory acuity to perform duties; Must be able to reach, stretch, push, pull and assist patients;

Requires ability to walk pushing up to 400 lbs.
