About the Role :
As a PLC Engineer, you will be responsible for improving the production efficiency (machine & Direct Labor) in its perimeter along with capitalize and share the know-how of industrial processes in their domain.
You will participate on the design of new equipment and new lines and lead Lean design workshops.
Responsibilities :
Manage production equipment introduction using IPROM
Follow equipment or assembly lines development with the supplier
Design small tool and validate the supplier proposal
Define the acceptance criteria for new equipment or line
Perform pre acceptance and acceptance of the equipment
Perform trials on the lines and deliver reports
Build action plans and follow up to be ready for FDPR
Perform and / or collect, capabilities of equipment's and process
Set up equipment and propose PROCESS VALIDATION PLAN
Participate on PFMEA and CONTROL PLAN
Work on Cycle time reduction to optimize investments, material & labor costs
Update routing on Information system with SPV validation
Support production technician ( training, analysis, problem solving)
Validate RAISE and CdC standards which are created by Standard Owners
Validate any change of standard proposed by sites
Know, apply and promote the standards ( PG, sites or corporate) in their domain
E nsure the respect of Safety and Environment procedures of Valeo Group
Maintain the 5S and report issues
Alert for safety rules infringement
What You Should Have :
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Can consider experience in lieu of formal degree.
3 - 5 years of experience with PLC
Automotive experience is preferred
