As a Field Service Engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will have the responsibility for performing on-site installation, repair and calibration of test and measurement equipment and systems.
You could also be asked to diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures. Utilizing experience and exercising troubleshooting skills to determine most efficient method(s) for resolution of problems to minimize customer downtime.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Perform installation of single or multi-rack systems, including chambers, comprised of multiple Anritsu equipment at the customer site
- Perform on-site upgrade, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of Anritsu systems
- Responsible for scheduling frequent domestic travel with sometimes less than 24 hours’ notice and occasionally for extended periods.
- Ensures that appropriate quality standards are adhered to in the performance of the position
- Participates in ongoing efforts of process and product improvements
- Capable of completing special assignments / projects as assigned by management
- Ability to accommodate 75% or greater in travel required
- This position will report to the Sr. Demo Control & Facilities Manager in TX
