About The Position
Job Title : Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Specialty : Occupational Therapy - Home Health Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : 1 year preferred in a hospital or home care setting License : State license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certifications : - NBCOT registration - CPR certification within 90 days of hire Must-Have : - Valid driver's license and insurance for home care - Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Analytical ability to identify and report changes in a patient’s condition - Excellent computer skills for accurate processing of detailed information Job Description : Provide occupational therapy support and assistance in a home health setting- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members- Assist in the development of patient care plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist- Monitor and report progress and any changes in a patient's condition- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations- Participate in mandatory orientation and training sessionsThis position is an Equal Opportunity Employment opportunity and welcomes local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
