Overview
Republic Refrigeration Thermal Division is seeking a Thermal Project Manager (Construction) with a minimum of 7+ years of project management experience in the Industrial Construction industry. The role focuses on managing cold storage projects with knowledge of equipment, safety standards, budgets, scheduling, and client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Establish project budgets and approve material and labor budgets; estimate and generate change orders; review invoices and manage estimates, schedules, and reports as needed.
- Track budgets and project costs from the initial phase to completion.
- Complete a checklist of project milestones and completion dates.
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, proposals, and contractual documentation.
- Maintain records for preparing, processing, and maintaining project files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing.
- Communicate effectively with field supervisors, crafts / tradespeople, and office personnel on project progress.
- Develop and maintain subcontractor relationships; conduct site visits to coordinate manpower and materials.
- Attend project and scheduling meetings; participate in all required safety activities and promote safety across the project.
- Work with others to accomplish project, departmental, and corporate goals.
- Support Business Development and Client Manager in business-related activities.
Qualifications
A minimum of 7+ years of experience in Project Management within the Industrial Construction industry.Proven experience in estimating.Strong knowledge of cold storage details, equipment, and safety standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and climbing stairs (high rooftops included).Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods (while working on job sites, driving, etc.).Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Seniority level
