Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented WIDS Senior Network Engineer / Administrator to join our team in Westfield, VA.
This is an Onsite position.
The WIDS Senior Network Engineer / Administrator shall possess the following capabilities :
Provides wireless intrusion detection services. Duties include system management, updates, upgrades, problem tracking and reporting.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in relevant area (Computer Science or Systems Engineering) or Associate’s Degree and 10 years of relevant IT experience
7+ years of relevant experience in Network Engineering / Administration
7+ years of experience leading and managing system updates, upgrades, problem tracking and reporting
Experience engineering and implementing an Enterprise-Wide Wireless Intrusion Detection System (WIDS)
Experience with managing a team and independently prioritizing resources
Experience writing clear, concise, and user-friendly technical reports
Appropriate ND 50-05 / DoD 8570.01-M Certification
Ability to travel domestically
Preferred Qualifications :
ITIL® v3 Foundation, or higher, certification
Experience with ServiceNow
Security Clearance Requirements :
Must have an active / current TS / SCI with polygraph.
Physical Requirements :
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 15 pounds.
Frequently communicates w / co-workers, management & customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
