Under the direct supervision of the Campus Director the Custodian maintains the facility so that it is clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Hours : Sunday to Thursday from 6 : 30pm to 11 : 30pm, Saturday or Sunday from 6 : 30pm to 10 : 30pm.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Cleans and stocks restrooms regularly
- Empties trash containers
- Vacuums carpets and washes floors
- Ensures the cleanliness of entire campus including classrooms, labs, offices, reception area and student and employee breakrooms.
- Ensures safety of self and others by using and maintaining appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment as intended. Maintains an inventory and safety data sheets for the supplies as appropriate.
Maintains supply room areas keeping them neat and organized.
- Reports any repairs that may be needed and safety concerns to the Campus Director immediately for follow up
- Ensures a smooth handoff during shift changes to other Custodians
- Performs other duties as assigned
