The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the consulting and servicing of small, specialized businesses throughout the United States that fit within the appetite of the markets we represent.
The Sales Account Manager must have a desire to grow the book of business through superior customer sales and service skills, and technical knowledge of the specialty coverages offered.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
- Engage leads generated by marketing for new business and procure information for underwriting.
- Responsible for all sales activities, from developing new customers through generation of new contacts within an assigned geographical territory to achieve minimum goal standards for growth.
- Maximize sales profitability, growth, and account penetration.
- Work with our renewal clients to obtain information for underwriting.
- Contact existing account clients to round out with other supplemental coverage.
- Educate clients and prospects on the unique risk management tools available.
- Analyze change requests from the client and forward to underwriting with recommendation and endorsements.
- Review policies for accuracy before presenting to client.
- Take calls on claims and submit information to claims committee.
- Support client calls and emails on general questions and requests.
- Special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS :
- 2-5 years insurance Agency or brokerage experience.
- Active P&C Licensed.
- Strong Communicator.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Attitude towards customer service and relationship management.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organizational skills and ability to problem solve and multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
- Desire to have fun and engage with the team.
- Adaptive to various technology and CRM platforms (ability to learn quickly).
COMPENSATION :
The starting salary range for this position is $58K to $65K with opportunity for additional commission. The offer will depend on the geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
