Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate : $23 to $25 Direct Hire Opportunity
Location : Bedford Park, IL
Hours : 1st Shift 5 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
The Maintenance Technician will routinely perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and components to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operations of all production equipment fixtures used by the organization.
This individual will have the ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications to provide troubleshooting and repair services as needed.
Responsibilities :
Diagnoses, repairs, and tests malfunctioning equipment and machinery. May replace faulty electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic and pneumatic components of machinery equipment.
Provides daily preventative maintenance on machinery equipment.
Conduct visual inspections and testing of machinery / equipment to locate root causes of malfunctions.
Conducts operational tests and repairs equipment by dissembling required components, repairing and / or replacing faulty parts, and reassembling and adjusting equipment.
Determines proper settings for timing, calibrations, and control mechanisms.
Maintenance associates should have the ability to work in a variety of settings including commercial and residential buildings.
List Qualification or Requirements :
Ladder Safety Training
First Aid & CPR training
Universal Waste Training
Forklift Certification (every 3 years)
Lockout / Tagout Procedures (once a year)
Fire Extinguisher Training (every 2 years)
2-4 years of working experience in maintenance.
