LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - FT Day Shift (7am-3pm)

Overview

The role of the Full Time License Practical Nurse at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale by RiverSpring Living, a world renowned long term care organization located in Riverdale - North Bronx, is eligible for a sign on bonus of $5,000.

This position, is to perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of their scope of practice and provides care under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse.

We currently have FT 35 hour positions available for our evening shift, including weekends and weekdays.

Day Shift 7 : 00 am - 3 : 00 pm

Responsibilities

The License Practical Nurse will observe, record and report resident data according to policy and procedure. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.

Ensure that the appropriate documentation concerning unauthorized discharges is entered in the resident's medical record in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications

Must possess a current NYS LPN license and registration, has graduated from an approved LPN program and has experience in a hospital / long term care setting.

Strong customer service, organizational, communication and writing skills essential. Must be competent with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR).

Compensation : $33.9481 Hourly
