MATERIAL HANDLER/SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK - 1ST SHIFT - $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS

WORK HOURS :
MONDAY- THURSDAY 6 : 00 AM- 4 : 30 PM (overtime as needed)
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Load trucks for daily shipment
- Unload inbound deliveries
- Secure loaded trailers
- Complete Bills of Lading
- Data entry and paperwork daily
- Daily inspection of forklift's and semi's
- All 4 season's daily outdoor activity
- Copying documents
- Use of glad hand locks
- Time sensitive daily activities
- Tollgate verification, stock put away, Oracle entry
- Service to and from presses and to the dock with forklift
- Wrapping of product
- Dumping of scrap, compound etc. with forklift
Qualifications :
- 5 years of forklift exp loading trucks
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Safe navigation of forklift
- DOT truck weight balancing and safe loading with a variety of heights, weights and footprints
- Able to lift and handle 50 lbs.
- Receiving computer paperwork entry / verification daily
- Strong communications skills
- Ability to work well as a team
- Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
Cleveland Steel Container was founded in 1963 to provide customers with a dependable steel pail. Currently, we have four pail plants located strategically throughout the United States to support our customers.
At our Streetsboro facility, we have a metal stamping plant to provide component parts for our pails. Our goal is to continuously provide our customers with quality pails through excellent service at an outstanding value.
Finally, we make good pails and deliver them on time!
