Seeking LPN's for PRN, Temp to Perm, & Permanent Placement positions across North Carolina
Position Summary : The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position involves delivering direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
As an LPN, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, providing treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the well-being of patients.
This role requires clinical expertise, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for infection control and patient safety.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and best practices in nursing care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination.
Requirements :
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of North Carolina.
- CPR certification and basic life support training.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as hospitals, clinics, long-term care, or home health care facilities.
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and patient assessments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work effectively.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to nursing care.
- Willingness to adapt to different healthcare settings and patient populations.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development in the field of nursing.
