We are a fast-paced Endodontic office in Park Ridge looking for a full-time dental assistant. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and help the dentist during examinations and other dental procedures.
Between patients, you will clean exam rooms and replenish supplies.
We require at least 2 years of experience and the applicant will need to be able to take digital x-rays and CBCT scans. Our office hours are : Mon, Tues, Thurs 8 : 30-5 PM, Wed 8 : 30-4 : 00 PM, Fri 8 : 30-3 : 00 PM, and 2 Saturdays per month 8 : 30-2 : 00 PM.
We also have a second location in Mt. Prospect and must be willing to travel between both offices.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.
Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Gather patient information and health background
- Prepare the work area for procedures
- Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
- Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory
Dental Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
