This role will report to our SVP & / or Senior Director of Product & will be critical in enabling us to build new features & capabilities, plan for sustainable growth in scale, & enable other feature teams to build on the platform.

To be successful, you should be proactive & able to effectively translate technical specifications to requirements aligned to prioritized business goals & performance metrics.

The Incubation Product Manager is responsible for overseeing the development & validation of new product concepts within our company's innovation incubator.

This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle from ideation to market validation, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the hypothesis testing process for new product offerings, utilizing lean methodologies to rapidly validate concepts.
  • Develop & implement a structured incubation process to explore new business areas & product opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, & marketing, to create & launch innovative products.
  • Organize & coordinate workshops, hackathons, & events to foster innovation & support the incubation process.
  • Establish & maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential customers, industry experts, & investors.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, & competitive landscape to identify promising product opportunities.
  • Create & manage product roadmaps, defining key milestones & success metrics for incubated projects.
  • Present findings & recommendations to leadership, supporting go / no-go decisions for incubated products.
  • Manage the financial aspects of incubation projects, including budget allocation & resource planning.
  • Collaborate with the broader product team to ensure smooth transition of successful incubation projects into the main product portfolio.

You will :

  • Work closely with our customer facing teams & engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of the customer operations model, distribution landscape, & competitive environment, to lead a platform / enterprise roadmap for SecurityScorecard customers & engineering teams.
  • Partner with engineering & design to build platform features that enable other engineering teams.
  • Understand platform limitations & tradeoffs to deliver value quickly with a clear understanding of technical tradeoffs.
  • Engage with our customers to identify problems / solutions, enroll in beta & announce new features.
  • Own features from conception to launch, working directly with our design & engineering teams to deliver impactful platform / enterprise features that provide exponential value.
  • Develop a deep understanding of user-engagement, engineering challenges, & other product metrics, extracting insights to inform the roadmap & to continuously improve performance of our platform.
  • Work in a dynamic environment where iterating quickly is critical.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in general or product management, with a focus on new product development, strategy or innovation.
  • Strong understanding of lean startup methodologies & agile development practices.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Outstanding communication & presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully bringing new products to market.

Desired Skills :

  • Familiarity with AI, cybersecurity & software supply chain.
  • Strong foundations of data, business intelligence & product analytics.
  • Experience with large language models & AI centered design is a plus.
  • Proven experience in building multi-million dollar products from 0 to 1.
  • Strong network within the startup & venture capital ecosystem.

The estimated salary range for this position is $180,000-210,000. Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications & experience, & may vary from the range.

In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards & equity, among other company benefits.
