CARDIOLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY
Cardiology NP / PA Position in NW Phoenix Suburb

We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team.
This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a combination of clinic and inpatient settings, managing a diverse mix of acute and chronic cardiology cases.

Position Overview :
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our group, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular conditions in collaboration with our experienced physicians.
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including clinic consultations, inpatient care, and on-call duty.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic cardiology cases.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
- Provide ongoing patient support and follow-up care.
- Utilize the GEMMS EMR system specifically designed for cardiology to maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications :
- Current Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care, ANP, FNP) or Physician Assistant licensure in AZ.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to our practice's protocols and procedures.
- Minimum one year experience in a cardiology setting
Work Schedule :
- Full-time position with a combination of clinic and inpatient work.
- One weekend call every 4 weeks with a half day off the following Friday.
- Average of 13-16 patients in the hospital per day.
