This is a fulltime position forthe following days & hours : Monday Friday 8 AM to 5 PM TheDental Assistant we hire must be a Certified Dental Assistant andis required to have an XRay certification for the state of MA.
Dental Assisting experience is preferred or we will consider arecent graduate from an accredited dental school. This positionoffers a competitive salary plus benefits! Come join their amazingteam!
Responsibilities
- Preparestreatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures andprotocols.
- Preparespatient for dental treatment by welcoming comforting seating anddrapingpatient.
- Providesinformation to patients and employees by answering questions andrequests.
- Providesinstrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments totreatment area; positioning instruments for dentist’saccess;
suctioning; passinginstruments.
- Providesmaterials by selecting mixing and placing materials on instrumentsand in the patient’smouth.
- Providesdiagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographicstudies pouring trimming and polishing studycasts.
- Maintainspatient appearance and ability to masticate by fabricatingtemporary restorations; cleaning and polishing removableappliances.
- Helpsdentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPRcertification emergency drug and oxygen supply and emergencytelephonedirectory.
- Educatespatients by giving oral hygiene plaque control and postoperativeinstructions.
- Documentsdental care services by charting in patientrecords.
- Maintainspatient confidence and protects operations by keeping informationconfidential.
- Maintainssafe and clean working environment by complying with proceduresrules andregulations.
- Protectspatients and employees by adhering to infectioncontrol policies andprotocols.
- Conservesdental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed toaccomplish jobresults.
- Maintainsprofessional and technical knowledge by attending educationalworkshops; reviewing professional publications; establishingpersonal networks;
participating in professionalsocieties.
- Contributesto team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded.

- Experienceworking as a Dental Assistant or training from a formal DentalAssistantprogram
