Elliot treats more pediatric patients than any other non-teaching hospital in Northern New England, and is the only Pediatric / Adolescent Center in Greater Manchester.
The Pediatric / Adolescent Center has a 17 bed capacity. We care for ill and injured children year round, with an average of 925 patients per year.
About the Job : The Registered Nurse in Peds will treat individuals who may need treatment in areas of telemetry, orthopedics, infections, respiratory, diabetes, GI, substance exposed infants, infants needing G-tubes wound care, seizures, pain management, sickle-cell disease, emergency, asthma, immunizations, and autism.
What You'll Do : * Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
Involves patient / family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input;
and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.* Utilizes current evidence and relevant national / specialty standards to guide practice and / or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
