Description
We're looking for a Mental Health Therapist Bilingual, English and Spanish , working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Pasadena, California, United States .
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will deliver home-based and on-site individual, conjoint, and group family therapy sessions under clinical supervision.
Drawing on your compassion and experience working with underrepresented and diverse communities, you will provide counseling to children aimed at enhancing their mental well-being.
What your day looks like as a Mental Health Therapist at Hillsides :
- You will implement program protocols and ensure procedures align with established guidelines.
- With attention to detail, you will document all therapy sessions based upon DMH regulations.
- You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and follow-up for the children you counsel.
- On a rotation one evening a week, you will facilitate a parenting or other assigned group session.
- Assist with other duties as needed.
How you will be supported :
By attending on-going training sessions and staff meetings, you will continue to develop your skills while keeping program / clinical supervisors up to date with your casework.
Experience Required for Your Success
As a Mental Health Therapist, you will bring :
A master’s degree in a Social Service-related field
- A valid BBS number in good standing from your California Board of Behavioral Services registration
- Working knowledge of DMH programming and contract requirements and experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children
- A valid California driver’s license. Must be able to show driving record and personal vehicle insurance coverage
