Details :
- Pay : $55,329 - $78,363 + Benefits
- Schedule : M-F, 7 : 30am - 3 : 30pm, 185 / 186 days per year
- Location : Dorchester Secure / Commonwealth Secure Detention / Suffolk Secure Detention / Mariposa Girls Program
Responsibilities :
- Deliver specialized, engaging lessons aligned with IEPs
- Differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Collaborate with DYS staff to support student growth
- Provide social-emotional support and transition planning
- Monitor and report on IEP progress
- Engage families through conferences and events
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree
- MA license in Mild-to-Moderate Disabilities (Grades 5-12)
- Commitment to teaching high-risk youth
- Master's Degree preferred, multilingual candidates highly desired
