Base Rate : $35.80 - $48.81

12 hr. shifts- overtime is paid after 8 hours, resulting in an average rate of $41.77 - $56.95

The Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for independently utilizing current respiratory care, administration, and monitoring practices in accordance with the physician’s order.

Demonstrates competence defined in Registered Respiratory Therapist responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care to patients.

Responsibilities of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position include :

• Evaluating and recommending a treatment plan of care to allow patients to reach maximum performance levels through therapy
• Responsible for documentation of patient's evolution including evaluation reports on patient's progress
• Operate various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and mist inhalation equipment
• Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with the patient, the patient's family, work team and all levels of the organization

Schedule

• 12 hours shifts
• AM and PM Shifts Available
• Weekend Shifts Available

Education / Experience :

• Education Successful completion of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.
• Experience Minimum five years of experience in acute care and two years of intensive care setting preferred.
• Licensure Active State Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
• Certifications BLS and ACLS required
