We are currently seeking a skilled and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact, you will assist clients with inquiries, address concerns, handle policy change requests, and ensure their experience with our agency is exceptional.

You will also maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, actively identify cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate closely with sales specialists to help the agency owner achieve service goals.

Responsibilities

Cultivating Client Relationships

Delivers personalized, professional customer service by building trust and strong relationships.

Customer Service

Assists customers with product inquiries, recommends additional services, follow up to ensure customer satisfaction, and resolve any concerns.

Policy and Account Management

Processes account and policy updates

Liaison

Guides customers through claims, ensuring they connect with the right department and follow up on their needs.

Appointment Scheduling

Schedule appointments with existing or prospective customers.

Email Correspondence

Check and respond to team emails daily, completing agency requests promptly.

Payment Handling

Process checks / money orders and support banking activities.

Event Coordination

Assists with set up and execution of agency events.

Professional Development

Continuously enhance expertise in insurance, including industry trends, products, underwriting, sales techniques, customer service, and technology.

Requirement

Licensing

  • Active Ohio Property, Casualty, & Life License required.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or previous customer service experience, preferably in the insurance industry.

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Problem Solving

Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.

Technology

Proficiency in PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, Excel).

Driven

Self-motivated with a passion for helping others and helping the team achieve sales targets.
